SEDDONS LEEKS

IN SEASON JULY - SEPTEMBER

Based in Ormskirk Lancashire, the Seddon family have been farming for more than 5 generations and growing leeks for over 50 years. They start transplanting the leeks in March through to July, planting a number of different varieties depending on the predicted harvest date and specification. This enables them to offer the best quality produce over the 11 month harvest.

Premium quality, hand selected and freshly packed for each order, these leeks really are the finest ingredient.

Fresh out of the ground with brilliant white bulbs and deep green flags, these leeks add luscious silkiness and allium sweetness to the pot. Prized for their versatility, they work well served simply as a side dish, or as a springboard for other flavours. Classic components to a cock-a-leekie and vichyssoise, leeks are delicious with salmon, creamy sauces, chicken and pork.
